Still on writing hiatus.
Last night, hanging out with my roommate, we began wondering what the most downloaded song through iTunes was. Discovering the answer wasn’t as easy as I thought, and we spent close to an hour guessing, arguing, and searching. Call me ignorant, but I was thinking something like Speed of Sound or Brown Eyed Girl, but I would be wrong. Way wrong. We finally uncovered what would become the most confusing moment of my life. I have job. I met yesterday with the parents of a girl that I will be tutoring a couple of times a week. Michael The Tutor you can now call me. I have additionally begun conversations with the owner of the coffee shop at which I spend my mornings writing. Before long, I could have two jobs. And you can then call me, Michael The Coffee Making Tutor. I additionally created two more characters for the novel. I am very excited about them and the part they will play in the story. Michael, Author of The Coffee Making Tutor. Lastly, I have been working on the new Oak Grove Abby website the last couple of weeks. While it’s still the Beta version, I’m quite proud of it. I learned how to integrate Wordpress blogging code into our design. It was exciting for me. Michael, the Geek with interests including, but not limited to Writing, Tutoring, and Barista-ing.

Decisions and moving forward. The second drafts for Part I and now Part II are complete. I will begin Part III shortly. A confession – I’m feeling somewhat pensive and foolish about the book. Pensive because this writing is exposing, and foolish because I feel the material is marginal at best.
I spent the weekend in Dallas – the home of Jack’O'Pierce. Where were you?
So, yesterday was Halloween, and in light of a day celebrating God knows what, we went to a party at our friends apartment complex. We ate burgers outside in the parking lot and mingled as kids came and begged for candy. We also watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown which was projected against the apartment building. There were plenty of witches and devils. One girl dressed as a movie star, and a boy as a really poofy sumo wrestler. [read more]
